All our garments in recycled cashmere are made from used cashmere sweaters that have been cut up, broken down and spun into new yarn. The sweaters are collected by a family-owned factory in Tuscany, Italy. The used sweaters are collected from all over the world, but mainly from the USA.
 
At Soft Goat, sustainability is an important part, which is why we are very happy to now be able to offer recycled cashmere in our range. These garments contain 5% wool to make the yarn more durable. The wool that we use is RWS-certified. Responsible Wool Standard is a voluntary standard that address the welfare of sheep and the land they graze on.
