Soft Goat is looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead our flagship store opening in Oslo in Autumn 2025.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the store team, driving performance, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience that reflects Soft Goat’s values of timeless design, exceptional quality, and conscious craftsmanship. As our Store Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the in-store experience and building strong, long-lasting customer relationships in a new and exciting market.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and develop a passionate and service-minded team through coaching, clear communication, and daily presence on the shop floor.
- Take full ownership of store operations and performance, ensuring all KPIs and sales targets are met.
- Foster a culture of clienteling and community, with a focus on building authentic, long-term customer relationships.
- Oversee scheduling, team planning, and day-to-day operations in an efficient and structured manner.
- Monitor stock levels, deliveries, and inventory management, ensuring a seamless store flow.
- Collaborate closely with Soft Goat’s Head Office functions, including Buying, Visual Merchandising, and Marketing.
- Maintain store visual standards in line with Soft Goat’s minimal and sophisticated brand identity.
- Coordinate and host in-store events and activations to grow brand awareness and client engagement.
- Ensure that all store routines, reporting, and guidelines are followed and continuously optimized.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Soft Goat both in-store and externally.
YOUR PROFILE
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Store Manager or in a senior retail role, preferably within premium or luxury fashion.
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop teams with a people-first mindset.
- Strong business acumen and results-oriented approach.
- Experience with omnichannel retail and CRM systems is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English (spoken and written).
- Organized, hands-on, and solution-driven with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Passion for high-quality materials, Scandinavian design, and a modern, conscious lifestyle.
